Leave any charisma at the door. Who on earth gave this life draining place 5 stars? Its a prison for cars literally. I escorted an 87 year old man who was let in and we had to wait standing up in the caged outside area for nearly 2hrs!! Only to be dealt with by some kind of humanoid unhelpful staff member. Dont smile in here you will be arrested!! The copper failed to get loads of items from the car as he rattled on about health and saftey with a face like a sore backside. Then the car was sent to a non police scrapyard where the 'normal' humans sent ALL of the old chaps things in a box via post without him even asking..free of charge,which restored my faith in humanity.

We couldn't take the staff from our van, because it was "too much"!?! Now, we have to wait until the Salvage company takes it! And we were there with van ourselves to collect it. This doesn't makes sense! This is senseless place with no phone! Hellooo, Its the 21st century! Either get a phone or buy a owls to get your mails!

Sometimes i wonder what the fuss is, here they think everyone coming in is a criminal. It takes nothing to be respectful and professional.This is the worst representation of the MET Police and it is disgraceful. I hope one day you uneducated people working there, realise your human and your families will be affected also one way or another.

Actually, I think it is understandable why people think the staff here are rude and unhelpful - they are doing a thankless task and are just following rules, that most people disagree with (including me TBH). But I went there today expecting the worse (I didn't have a physical license on me although DVLA had updated my records online) and I was greeted with a very helpful chap who listened to me and said everything was in order! I think the problem with this place is a cast-off of the institutional racism that exists in the Met Police. If you're white, middle class and well spoken, things are easy. Unfortunately, 95% of the people there today were not any of those! I don't agree with that but that's reality!
