Chapel Books is one of two great bookshops in Wesleton and well worth a visit. The owner is welcoming and helpful. There is a good selection of books and topics to look through. Best time is the afternoon as not open in the morning.
For the local village, this place must be essential and adds to the unique fabric of the area. For outsiders, it's a quirky detour - thousands of books on all subjects, mostly vintage of course, and also a collections of vinyls including some Beatles, Cream, Elvis. If you're driving through the area, I'd recommend dropping by you can park outside it.
If you're visiting the Aldeburgh area of the east coast, and you're any kind of a bibliophile, you must visit Chapel Books in Westleton. There's a wonderful collection of old books, and the place is run by an amazing and delightful gentleman d'un certain age. You won't regret it.
I have been researching the history of my gt grandad, and through searching an expedition he was in, I found there was a book written about it! Upon searching for a while, I stumbled across this gem! What a lovely store, the owner was very helpful and clearly has a passion for these books. I ordered online and the book was with me by the next day.
Very extensive range of second hand books and some vinyl records although not cheap.
