Wonderful restaurant selling Chinese food. The room is well set out and spacious. The service was excellent and everyone so friendly especially Charlie who spent some time chatting with us. The food was really delicious. It’s worth going to St Helens to eat here. Well done Mr Chan.
We bloody love it here. Best Chinese restaurant in all of Merseyside. Loads of options for vegetarians. Veggie spring rolls and the salt and pepper tofu is amazing that’s what’s in the pictures. Plenty for meat lovers too incredible chicken stir fry dishes. You get the 5 star customer service here too the staff are so friendly and helpful. It’s really cheap as well. I love it that much anyone who comes to visit this is where we take them and everyone has loved it.
A trip out with the in-laws, to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was my first time at Mr. Chan's restaurant, but my wife a native of St.Helens has been many times before, and recommended it. Her good review was upheld. From the moment we walked through the door, and were warmly welcomed, to the point of our departure, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. The service was quick, but without feeling like you were being rushed. The staff dropped by regularly, to ensure we were all happy, or to ask if there was anything we needed. And the food was absolutely delicious! I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good Chinese food.
Took my daughter here for a meal this evening. Food was excellent and great value too. A wide choice on the menu, my daughter had the salt and pepper chicken which was great and had a real kick. Attentive and swift service. Will definitely returnFood: 5/5
I've been to Mr Chans twice in the last 3 months, and I've never been disappointed. The staff are great, the food is amazing and the service is second to none. Whilst there, the owner introduced himself to us and all his other customers. I thought this was a nice touch. Would 100% recommend this restaurantFood: 5/5
Always a good meal at Mr Chan's. Have been dining there for years. Nice little inside bar now away from food area if you just want a drink. Always very friendly. Good to dine there for any celebrations you have.Food: 5/5
Lovely food, had a mixed sharing starter.and every single bit was delicious. Staff very attentive, no waiting for drinks etc . Definately be back and everyone of my party of 5 thought the same.x Vegetarian options: Good options even gluten free, made us a vegan meal not on menu fab.

I'm a serious FOODIE..... Look at my previous reviews. I was greeted by friendly, polite and helpful staff. My order was packaged in environmentaly friendly, recyclable materials, nice touch. Vermicelli Singapore noodles - lovely balance of flavours and seasoning, fine noodles with chicken, onion, prawns, char-siu pork, egg, peppers capsicum tasty, not too greasy but did have a slight chalky texture. Hot Chilli Chicken and Sezuan Chicken- unable to determine between the two unfortunately. The sauce / gravy tasting the same; - one had chicken, a couple of mange tout, onions, scallions of carrot and a couple of oyster mushroom slices. - the other chicken, green pepper slices, onions, carrot matchsticks. Both mildly spicy but salty, msg? Or other flavour enhancers? Fairly good but.... Not the cheapest prices and the food quality doesn't justify or reflect the quality.
First time visit, and well worth it. Staff lovely and even Mr.Chan paid us a welcome visit :-Food: 5/5
