I've been in this place many times since it's a good choice for a nicely cooked meal. It has very tasty oriental food. It looks casual and easy going, ideal to go with friends. The Singapore noodles are really nice and the crispy duck salad delicious!. Staff is ok, nothing extraordinary but I think so far, there is not a service charge added to your bill, though that might have change since my last visit a while ago.
Given the size and location I had expectations of good food from here. But it was more like a budget version. The food was OK at best. The price was a little steep. The service was only OK, and the attitude too a drop when we didn't pay the automatically added service charge. Note this was added automatically by the till as they put down 3 of us as 5 covers. A trick that I suspect has hoodwinked a lot of people.
Have been here a few times over the past few years - have yet to be disappointed. They have a good selection of meals available that cater to most people if they have a taste for Chinese cuisine - personally I am a creature of habit so tend to have the same meal which I heartily recommend - the Beef Udon Noodles...yum yum yum. Prices are reasonable, waiting times for seats are typically short or non-existent, and they have tables 'outside' in the courtyard of Kingly Court shopping centre. Cocktails are again reasonably priced and tasty, and are typically a nice twist on a classic such as their Asian Mojitos with Lemongrass. Is one of my firm favourites for a post-work midweek meal with colleagues.
I love this place! Every time I eat there, somehow I am feeling younger, trendier and happier. The restaurant is hidden in a little courtyard off Carnaby Street and the people eating there reflect London's funky professionals. Food is very good. Fried calamaris and spring rolls are my favourites. Good food, reasonable prices, trendy atmosphere are taking me to this little noodle bar when I am around Regent street. Strongly recommended, well done Cha Cha!
I love the Asian culture and food. It's a far country so it's very interesting to me. This local restaurant is a good chance to get in touch with the Chinese way of eating and in my opinion, it does a great job. The place delivers authentic atmosphere and meals, prepared according to the Chinese tradition. I'm going to stop now, because I sound like an advertisement : The prices are a little steep but definitely worth it.
We stumbled into this delightful little place when staggering around Soho and loved the hot and delicious food that was served. The menu has pan-Asian dishes with a decent selection for the vegetarians and the cocktails are fun. We asked for a table in the courtyard and were warned about bag/phone-snatchers in the area - which was all very exciting, given that we were in the middle of London.
Really like this place for a quick food stop- there's usually a seat available at the wagamama-style benches. The menu is eclectic, but everything seems to be done well. Try the steamed BBQ pork buns- they're to die for. Service can be a bit erratic so be prepared to have to grab serving staff for their attention rather than waiting for them come to you.
Excellent atmosphere and decor. The food is tasty and hearty. All for a fair price. A great place for a informal social gathering. The food will come out as soon as its ready, so dont expect your orthodox 3 sittings of starter, main, dessert.
Mains of good qualitytried Thai chicken curry . desserts were excellent baked banana and pancakes with coconut filling with delicious ice-cream! The only concern was customer service. We were served by 4 hosts/waiters during our stay: they forgot to count in groupon voucher, forgot to bring tea spoons when we asked. it was surprising because place was not so crowded or busy. Great central location and tasty non-alcohol coctails
I have never eaten in here but had a few take aways. The food is really good, even just the vegetable noodles, and you get so much for your money, perfect for a Friday hangover lunch at work. I have sat and waited and he has a busy lunch atmosphere which is to be expected at lunchtime in Soho. They are very speedy and helpful.
