Do not recommend. Unfriendly, unhelpful staff. I brought a tower pc in with euro plug. They said they would need UK plug. I said I was dropped off, so would have problem to bring the tower back home. Couldn`t even leave it there for an hour to see if I get UK plug in shopping centre. Asked to talk to the boss, but my matter wasn`t important enough to disturb him. Didn`t try to be helpful at all and the blond guy was arrogant and rude on top of it.
Terrible service. Literally they don't know what they are doing. Rude young lady at the counter and the staff were arguing among themselves in front of me. Very unprofessional
The prices are scandalous. I went in to buy a mobile phone. Glad I didn't buy the one I was looking at because CeX wanted more for a used phone than they are brand new!
Very friendly excellent customer service
Honestly... This review has changed from 5 to 2*. Everything is overpriced, nothing is organised in comparison to how it used to be. It's really a state in there. I don't know if coronavirus has given the place some issues or not but none the less. As much as I support physical game copies and employment through it, it's no wonder digital downloads etc are putting these kind of shops out of business. Just look at the margins they're trying to take on the websites sell / Buy section.
Nice place, reminiscent of the old computer stores which you don't get often now. True that it feels a tad pricey but we need to keep some perspective - you can't compare their prices to eBay or car boot or your mate with the N64 - they're a business and need to cover costs. When you factor that it its not egregiously expensive.
I called into this store with a view to swap my Samsung s20fe for something more simple! However the assistant Chelsea, set my phone up so that I could use it. Absolutely delighted at her patience. The employees at 3 stores could learn alot from Chelsea. Thanks.
Good place to trade items you no longer want like video games, consoles, mobile phones, laptops etc. You can trade for something you want or sell your unwanted items for cash, though they don't offer as much as if you trade. The biggest plus is that they give a 2 year warranty on goods .
