Only adults in the shop are customers. Staff are rude and abrasive. Trying to get something appraised is like pulling teeth. 2 days wait and still no results. As a result I've gone hungry for 2 days, needing the money I was hoping to get to feed myself .Urgently needs an adult manager. A special shout out to the girl with 2 tone hair and a kilo of steel in her face, zero customer skills.
Came here twice over the past 6 or 7 months to sell some electronics, staff were very helpful, was a fairly straightforward experience. Heads up for people, if you're looking for straight up cash you are not guaranteed it as stores are not always able to provide it, in my case I did a bank transfer, it can take upto 3 days so take these scenarios into account. But all in all place was great
Wouldn't bother staff have a bad attitude nobody seems to know what's going on. I ordered a dvd to be delivered from another store to west bromwich. Told it would be there on Monday went and was told they didn't know anything. My son had a game which didn't work, and on the front of the game had £8. And was charged £10. As there was no other games my child wanted was offered a refund but then told by some woman with bright pink hair that had a chip on her shoulder, said they couldn't give a refund as systems were down but could check stock and exchange things gof other customers. Then send a message via FB as you can't contact the store via phone. Sent message Wednesday. For this morning at 4am to have a message come though. Which is very unprofessional. And still waiting about my dvd I ordered.
Popped in as was in the area. Bad weather with all the rain but what can you do. Nice tidy store and was quiet when l entered the shop. Lots of variety and well stocked. I've been after a particular Sony bluetooth speaker and Abi was so helpful. She advised me on the grading and the quality that l could expect from each. Not in stock at the grade required but l will carry on in my search. On the high street so in a good location. Would recommend on my experience this morning.

Id award no stars but that's not an option. Rude, rude and extra rude female staff. They need a boyfriend or something cause honestly they are rude, miserable and sad looking. Then with the weird hair and clothes im sure its not easy for them unless they go to pigeon park. The shop feels depressing and although you can get games cheap, is it really worth being treated like a third class citizen when your spending money with them? I don't think so. Im going to use my voucher then be done with the store. I don't know if racism has anything to do with it... but on 3 different occasions I myself have been made to feel unwelcome whilst shopping in cex west bromwich store.
Always a pleasure to visit clean and tidy store with some banging tunes playing.
Staff are very lovely here, queues can be long but they'll try and get to you as soon as you can. The store is big and clean. Only issues is sometimes there not good with updating there stock online as I went for something in particular early morning which it said they had online yet it wasn't in store. Very local so I'd go again!
