Took an item in to sell that had been reset and checked thoroughly by myself prior to sale. Told us it would be 40 minutes to check it. We waited around for 40 minutes and was told that it was faulty and that they couldn’t accept it. Took it to cash converters and it was properly checked in front of us and worked perfectly as I knew it would and they gave us the same amount of money. Only upside is that the staff were friendly.
Not really my kind of shop, but young un wanted to go in. The lay out of the shop is good wide aisles so easy to move round

I bought a game from cex yesterday to cone and play it to find out it doesnt work what a waste of money people buy games to play not to get home and it be non readable its beyond a joke
CEX has always been a Scunthorpe destination for films, games and tech, but in 2022 most of it's stock is dated and the prices aren't competitive anymore. I'd like to see CEX have a bit of a strategic think, it'd be a loss to the high street, but there's less and less reasons to support it.
Good shop, fair pricing for the most part, helpful employees. Nice selection on computer parts.
Give you an inflated price online and then when you go to store tell you they can't buy it
