What on earth happened to this store - I would pop in on my way to/from work over the years and this store was okay, then it dramatically went downhill. Sporadic opening times that seemed to have no rhyme or reason, post office seemed to be to much hassle for the staff so it would just be 'closed', rude staff, the chap who seemed to take over running it would ignore you, when he did bother to serve you he would be on the phone or refuse to even look at you! Once I was walking up to the door, about two metres away and they just walked over and locked it shut and walked off! Some of the staff were lovely, but thats all I can say about this place sadly.
Says it is open until 9pm on a Sunday. I got there at 8:15pm to find the shutters down. Great. Update your times or don't be going off early.
Zero stars! Terrible customer service Saturday afternoon. Short staffed with only 1 person serving both post office and shop. So only one queue whether you wanted post office or shop.I was third in the queue and waited patiently for ten minutes to be served. I could sympethise with the staff member having to run the shop on her own. I had a parcel to post and my daughter picked up a couple of sweets to buy. While waiting the queue grew to about ten people long and 3 people got fed up of the slow service and left. I paid for my parcel and was told I'd need to join the back of the queue to pay for the sweets! How ridiculous. It would have taken less than thirty seconds to run these through the shop till that was about a meter away from the post office till. Needless to say you lost the sale of the sweets and any future sale from me as I shan't be returning to this shop or post office ever. I would recommend some customer service training for the staff member in question. Very poor
No regular opening hours. The website is inaccurate. The PO opens sporadically. Always short staffed. Karen is brilliant & hardworking

I come here a lot to buy sweets or drinks and it’s good , great service
Mostly shut. Don't bother.
Typical central store. There for your convenience.
