Looked the part and seemed to carry a good stock of kiosk items and cake. Unfortunately I chose this place for coffee after a quick scout about to see if there were any other independent coffee shops nearby. My large flat white ok I know that should have been a warning was cheap at £2.30 but it tasted strongly of detergent. I visited after 4, but it didn’t look like the place was being cleaned and shut for the day. Either way, there shouldn’t be cleaning products in a drink! I was on my way to catch a train so couldn’t go back to complain. There’s another place just up the hill which looks promising. I’ll try that the next time I’m in Helensburgh.
