EDITED REVIEW - This post office used to have incorrect hours and was seemingly never open.nnHowever, now it's inside the Morrison's and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Recommend as an easy place to send parcels for sure.
This post office used to be excellent service and under really friendly ownership but as noted in other reviews the opening hours have become more restricted. When it first changed ownership I was told the hours would eventually expand but months later and it's still not open before 9AM. The opening hours listed here on Maps as 6AM opening and states updated by business owner 3 weeks ago are not correct sadly - went yesterday and in shop window there are pieces of paper still with 9AM on covering the old early opening times.Updated summer 2025: the new post office team in the Morrisons are very helpful.
Polite and fast service. Post office on a Sunday is very useful.
Now located in Morrisons - adjacent to closed old small shop. Great service now new management have found their feet.
Brilliant if a little bonkers in a nice way . Superb service. We need to use these small post offices to keep them open. I've stopped buying postage online and now use this post office.nnEven packing materials are cheaper !!!!!
