We were badly let down by Allan of CB Private Hire. He was booked to take us from Haddington to Edinburgh Airport at  4:50 a.m. on the morning of 6 October. I started getting anxious when he hadn't showed up by 5:15 a.m and wasn't answering phone calls either to his mobile or land line. We were very fortunate that a driver for another local firm took pity on us, juggled his scheduled jobs with a colleague, and took us to the airport in time.

This was absolutely appauling.  I booked a taxi by phone for 00.15 from a remote location near Gifford.  The taxi failed to show up without any explanation and no contact.  I then had to wait for two hours for a different company's taxi to be available.  I tried to phone countless times and it now appears he has even blocked my number.  When we did get a different taxi, the driver quoted several other instances of CB Private Hire letting other people down too, often due to alcohol.  Avoid.
