Story

Located in picturesque open countryside on the popular River Ayr Walk, Catrine House is a welcoming and cosy Scandinavian style log building housing our purpose built coffee shop & ice cream parlour

Bring the whole family along and let the children run around outside in our large grass field with play area or in our rustic barn, while you relax and try one of our delicious sundaes or cones. Choose from our range of tempting home made cakes with a cup of tea or freshly brewed coffee, or a bowl of hearty homemade soup together with a freshly made toasted sandwich, jacket potato, wrap or panini.

We make our award winning, traditional ice cream using our own fresh milk and cream from our prize winning herd of pedigree Ayrshire cows. We also produce fruit sorbet in the classic French way using fresh fruit, which is sourced locally wherever possible. All our ice cream is made on site in our very own ice cream parlour.
