Well the food was lovely, but unfortunately the service was a real let down. We arrived to a full restaurant so stood by the "please wait to be seated" sign for a considerable time; not a problem in itself, but of the multiple waitresses passing and flitting in and out of the counter in front of us, not one acknowledged us at all, not even a simple "hello" . After being seated and placing our order the food came quickly, but by the time we were halfway through our meals the drinks still hadn't arrived. Chased up the drinks, then when they arrived we were still one drink short, and had to chase up for a second time. The restaurant had nearly emptied by this point so it couldn't even be blamed on busyness. It was a real shame as its a lovely building and the food is tasty. Still undecided as to whether to give it a second chance.

Dropped in for coffee and a quick bite to eat. It was quiet so we were seated immediately. Tomato soup and a couple of coffees arrived quickly, soup was tasty but short on seasoning. Coffee was pleasant. Bill came to about a tenner which is a wee bit steep. Staff were pleasant and friendly, building was clean, warm and comfortable.

This is a lovely place, very friendly staff, great food on the menu, the soups are delish an the array of cakes, scones an tray-bakes makes decisions very difficult to go with your coffee/tea. Set in lovely surroundings, there is car park with ample spaces with disabled parking in the front. There is also a small park for the kids, you can also go for a stroll, that’s if you feeling adventurous to take in the surrounding countryside.

Lovely place, great little play area for kids, lovely building itself, clean and well kept. Menus are limited, would have been nice to have more vegetarian options. Howevee food and the coffee lovely. Staff friendly and courteous, but a little disorganised on busy days, paying the cheque was slow and I felt a lot would have probably left without paying, definitely needs assessment!

lovely setting in a country estate. Home cooking . I had sandwich and soup combo which was all tasty. Finished with scone and some home baking all delicious. Prices comparible with other premises in the area ie not expensive and not cheap.
