Very bad customer service and they send bill what ever they like l have a little Coffee Shop I received £1562 bill for 6 months. Even last 3 years water bills didn't cost me that much with Thames Water

Is this a scam, apparently not, just severe incompetence. Thames water transfered billing from affinity to castle this year after 2 years’ billing from the former - we were fully paid up with a total of around £100 for the period. 1st bill from castle was £450 (should for only a few weeks turns out they were billing us for the time with affinity). The bill came with a nice introductory threat “if you don’t pay in 14 days we’ll take you to court”. They had no metre reading no knowledge of previous billing so decided to pluck a number from thin air, and funny thing was they asked us to provide the evidence, I.e. read the metre send old bills etc. I wonder what their role in this is?? One thing positive we spoke to a nice guy - but didn’t have a clue what was going on. Account on hold now. Question: who gave these cowboys a licence (and who is overseeing them)???

Good Friday fiasco The worst water supply and drainage 1hour on the phone with annoying music and still no answer no customer service. Caused caos with our restaurant all clients not been able to use the WC Will presuin legal action ASAP

have been charged £120 every month for almost 8 months,..today £480.00 !!!!!!!!????????? thought i am having water falls in my 600ft small convenient shop where we use water to wash our coffee cup (hardly 2 cup every day!) absolutely rip off...legal robbery...bloody my hard working money !! no body is going to understand this pain...

Castle Water apparently took over my waste supply in Sep 2016. In Dec 2017 I received debt collection threats along with threats of cutting off my water supply. I had never received contact from CastleWater or an invoice from them. They claim to have sent me one invoice in Aug 2017 (it’s meant to be quarterly billing), that was the extent of their attempted contact with me. No phone calls to check, no emails, just straight to Debt Collection. The Debt collection agency were shocked and apologised and refused to pursue the debt. Castle Water’s customer service are a joke. I finally got through to them, explained the situation. They promised to look into it and get back with to me. 2 weeks later they still hadn’t contacted me. I called back, wishing to settle my account with them, however, the invoice they had emailed me didn’t match they amount owed on their system. I was then told they weren’t able to issue me a correct invoice! This company is an absolute shambles. Their business is dealing with sewage, and that appears to be their way of dealing with their customers as well. When I finally receive a correct invoice I will be settling my account and switching suppliers.
