Moorish Banana and pecan and toffee cake and really made the start of my day with scrambled egg on softly toasted bread and a proper Yorkshire brew.

I visited England for the very first time last year 2019 and spent 3 days in York. Loved the city. This was my favorite place to get an afternoon cream tea which I did each of those 3 days, when I needed that extra boost of energy to keep exploring all the cool historic sites.

Quaint tearoom - a little on the small side - limited menu but very reasonably priced - the two young ladies who were behind the counter were very attentive and helpful - I would recommend a visit here if you are in York

Friendly staff, tasty cake

Visited for lunch and had all day breakfast, this was quite small only 1 slice of toast, no sausage only bacon. Could get extra hot water for tea pot free of charge. Service was quite small.

We called in today for a cup of coffee. Lovely friendly staff. Very welcoming. Absolutely spotless. We highly recommend this to everyone. We will certainly be back soon. Thank you very much.x

Lovely staff and a lovely little place

Lovely little tea room with an affordable menu. Staff lovely and friendly, I didn't feel rushed in any way. Food was lovely.. The only downside is they don't accept card payments so make sure you get cash out before you visit. I would highly recommend this Tea Room
