Half empty at the moment. Good fruit n veg shop though, and some local shops, hardware store and Wilkinson's. Would be nice to fill the space - perhaps rents too high?

It used to be wonderful! Still has a background smell of stale smoke from when you could smoke in there back in the day. Wilkos, fresh fruit and veg and great value curtain shop in there make it worth while visiting

Castle Place has small assortment of shops. The only big chain store is Wilko. There is a dealers, green grocers and shoe repaired among others. This is accessible from the multi storey car park by the civic centre. There is a toilet but it is closed on Sundays.

Would give more stars as shops that are in castle place are very good but many shops are empty at present which spoils things a bit. Monday to Saturday there is a market downstairs which is quite good.

Fair shopping centre. Limited shops bit many eateries. Worth a visit.
