Asked for a Bacon roll in the station car park. I had 19 minutes till my train. When it was down to 4 minutes left, I mentioned that I only had 4 minutes till my train. My food was cooked, so no issue, I thought! The gentleman serving me said, why didn't you f*****g tell me. I said, it's OK not a problem as it's ready. He told me to f**k off and gave me my money back. He continued swearing at me as I walked off, (hungry). Lovely chap ! 🤣🤣🤣

A very quiet station. Typical rural rail station. Has plenty of taxis when the trains are scheduled to arrive

A quiet, rural railway station with only a handful of stopping services, meaning that there are not too many trains to film. Gets 4 stars rather than 3 due to the great scenery surrounding Castle Cary station

Know this small train station since,, 1967, that's 50 years You would think by now that for us who have problems using the footbridge, another means, other than having to ring ahead to be escorted across the tracks would have long ago been put into place, each time I travel down from London Shame on the district council.
