Delicious food, chill vibes, lovely staff. Menu is a little limited, but didn’t matter as I had the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, and the starters Arancini pictured, and wines, were all also great. Thanks to all the staff who made it such a lovely family meal. Will definitely be returning.
We went here for lunch after a lovely walk around flushing & Mylor. I had the "C-Dog" a delicious Battered Pollock Hotdog style Baguette! Lovely tasty toppings, sauces and seasoned very well. My girlfriend had the Seafood Pizza, it was also very tasty! Warming & welcoming staff members. Also bonus points from me for stocking my favourite beer on tap! Beavertown Neck Oil IPA

I went to this restaurant for a special occasion yesterday, and boy howdy, I loved it. Firstly, the service was impeccable. They were enthusiastic and responsible and were extremely kind and caring. Then there was the food. I ordered their specialty, the muscles. They were rich with flavour and deeply enjoyable. And the presentation was amazing- it even came with a handy bucket to dispose of the muscle shells. Overall, I loved it. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and a definite recommendation!!
We had our wedding reception at Castaways 3 days ago and wow…. What a wedding it was! We feel incredibly lucky to have had our wedding at such a special and beautiful place. The food was out of this world and all our guests loved the day with many of them stating it was the best wedding they had ever been to. All the staff were amazing! They were friendly, professional and courteous. With Marc at the helm, they made our dream wedding become a reality. Everyone commented on how yummy the food was and the setting of this place makes you feel like you’re not in the UK. So if you want to go out for a meal that you can guarantee will be a good one, treat your loved ones to an evening out or just simply chill out with a drink by the sea, Castaways is that!

Absolutely brilliant food and amazing service from Dan and Will! The freshest seafood we’ve had all holiday - and wonderful to be so well looked after, in particular by the charismatic and enthusiastic Dan. We came all the time as kids and it’s amazing to see the restaurant still going from strength to strength. We cannot recommend the beautiful place enough - you must go!
Sadly lacking. I wrote about this place 2 years ago with rave reviews, went back today, weather was glorious, got told they were only doing pizza so ordered a nice looking sea food to be presented with a spicy Pepperoni, little excuse, just did I want it or not. We are back in a couple of weeks for our main holiday but will find somewhere else to eat.
Our favourite restaurant during our stay in Cornwall. Highly recommended. Parking in the harbour can sometimes be difficult but we found a spot each time. Staff are very friendly and the food is amazing - personally recommend the crab linguini . Dog friendly.
Not a good experience at all had to queue at the bar for 15 minutes can understand if busy but only 1 person behind the bar 4 other staff wandering around doing not a lot pity the person waiting for the burgers on the hotplate they were still there after I was eventually served. The barman was busy yet nobody stepped in to help or to take food or ice cream orders to alleviate the queue. So only had the one drink and £1-40 for a bag of crisps is daylight robbery
