Excellent service, great staff, very good coffee, awesome being 100 yards from our holiday cottage
Good service, lovely cakes and fab mix of teacups & saucers. Useful range of 'corner deli' type products available. Opposite Chawton Cottage aka Jane Austen's House and down the road from The Great House aka Chawton House. Nice walk along the winterbourne too.
Pleasant surroundings, delightful staff and a full cream tea with sandwiches, cakes and scones to die for.
Charming. Directly opposite Jane Austin's house is Cassandra's- well named after Jane's sister. It's small and quirky, lots of teacups hanging from the ceiling! We had tea and churros- the churros were perfect! Great service and great atmosphere
Such a lovely tea room, really impressive menu for such a small cafe. Just had cream tea this time but will soon be returning to try breakfast/lunch! Really friendly staff would definitely recommend if you are in the area
Excellent carrot cKe
Visited during the Summer for High Tea. Totally blown away by the experience. The Tea Shop is very pretty and intimate. The High Tea was huge and very tasty. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be visiting again.
Friendly staff and the food is excellent. The burger I had was one of the best I've had for a long time. Portion size is good for the price, considering where they are, right opposite Jane Austen's house. I also recommend the cream tea. The choice of food is better than most other café's. It fits the location and well worth the visit.
