DEFACED GOLD JEWELLERY. Gave gold jewellery in trust on buy back. The gold item was brand new and never worn. The shop worker performed an acid test on the item in front of me on the back of the band on the ring. The worker acting all gentle and careful as the design of the gold ring was delicate and not to cause any damage. The buy back deal was done and accepted. I went today to buy back my gold ring. The ring was unrecognisable and dull. It has lost all its lustre and shine. The shop has after at some point of the transaction completely immersed the ring in acid. I spoke with the manager whom just brushed the whole thing under the rug and denied that the shop had damaged my item. Absolutely disgusted and appalled that they not only charged extra to buy the item back but damaged my jewellery and then add insult to injury and lie about the whole thing. I will not be going there again. Absolutely disgusting staff an all!
Seen some awful reviews on here but, When I went to the shop to buy a laptop they helped me pick through many good cheap laptops I now have a ThinkPad that is modern and up to date and I couldn't be more happy. Staff were lovely and couldn't of asked for more of them
Never used these types of stores before but was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful the staff were. I was greeted by a lady who helped me pick a games console for my nephew and she did me a great discount on some games. I will definitely be visiting this store again.
Phoned up the store to check on exchange rates. The member of staff was very helpful and advised me to order through No1 currency and pick up from them. I did everything went very smoothly and I got a much better rate than other stores in Bury.
Looked in store after shopping around in Cex & seen I’d save £5 on modern Warfare2
Rude staff. I asked for help got a one word anser and she turned her back on me like im not worth the time. Got the product i was looking at next door from cex cheaper and 2 year warranty Do not waste your time in this shop
New Store looks FANTASTIC ! - it the heart of the town centre Right opposite WILKO Wish them all the best - its CG back where they belong in Bury
Staff were brilliant messaged them about an item they had for sale and they held it for me while I travelled to the store. Really friendly and can’t thank them enough
Bought an item which was faulty and shown them proof and the staff was very hostile and abusive. They don't have the knowledge to test stuff efficiently like CEX do in Bury. The place needs closing down.
Love the new store and the new staff. Been using the reserve it facility for years. Products change everytime I visit and prices always cheaper than CEX down the road. Keep it up guys!!
