Great place for taking your Unwanted clothes,bags,shoes,bedding,belts etc for a reasonable price charity obviouslyif you don't need money. Better than putting them into landfill. Great staff although they do need better, bigger heaters for themselves as its always cold!
I just wouldn’t bother if I were you, I took about 10 big black bin bags full of perfectly good stuff and got about £14 for all of it, the attendant had no customer service skills and was very blunt about what he would or wouldn’t take, they won’t take coats as they are too heavy, I kind of felt as if I was being judged by the things I had brought, it’s all money grabbing and a rip off, this is a business not a charity for anyone who may be confused about that, yes the clothes go to Africa, but they are then sold on markets for a profit, which is kept by the owner of this so called business.! nothing charitable about it. I would either donate your clothes to charity, or if you want to make money, sell them on eBay.

My name is Steve, and as the owner of the business, which also includes sites in Tamworth and Nuneaton, I would like to take the opportunity to respond to your comments, as I fully recall your visit to my site. The nature of our business is that we buy second-hand clothing and shoes from the public and export them to Africa. The clothing that we buy has to be clean and wearable and suitable for the end user. You have commented that I would not take your vintage suits. Unfortunately 40-50 year old suits are not suitable for the African Market, which is what I explained to you and why I was unable to buy these from you. As you will recall, I checked 5 of your bags and by that point, I had recognised that a lot of the garments were not clean. When I explained to you that I could not accept the majority of your garments, you then asked for my name, which I gave willingly. I asked you at the time if this was a problem and you said not. You will also recall that it was me who suggested you try the Star Foundation and also gave you directions on how to get to their store. My aim is to treat all customers honestly and politely and I am sure that you were treated with courtesy throughout your visit, and when you left I helped you load your bags back into your car. Since we started trading we have spent over 3 million pounds buying new and second hand clothing and shoes from the public, for export to the African Market. Thanks again for your comments and for giving me the opportunity to explain why all garments need to be fully checked to ensure they are clean, wearable and reusable to meet our buyers standards.
Had a number of bags of ladies and gents clothes, Mathew who was on duty was very helpful and informative. He told me about the good second hand clothing going to Africa which I think is a very good cause. Thank you and I will come again.
Really pleased with the friendly service I received today at Cash 4 Clothes. Very knowledgable about the company's aims and thorough with checking my clothes. Great company serving a fantastic cause. Would recommend.
After arriving today with over 20+ black bags full of clothes new and old. We were greeted, well I say greeted I mean more of a 'where is all this from' by Steve. We'd took the majority of the bags out the car and loaded them on the counter, after Steve picking up some vintage men's suits and going through 1 bag, he stated 'I can't take this it's too old'. We said twice that there was newer clothes in the bags, some had infact still had their labels on, some were still in packets. But No, he point blank refused to go through any more of the bags. He then got abit snotty at the fact we asked his name. The whole experience was very traumatic and seemed as though he just couldnt be bothered to go through the bags. I certainly won't be returning. On a brighter note, we later found the Star Foundation on Derby road, Burton. Who could not be happier to help, they are a 5* establishment in my opinion and anyone looking for somewhere to weigh in clothes or just to donate, Star Foundation should be the first on your list. Many thanks for denying our belongings Steve, for if you didn't then we wouldn't of found the Star Foundation, who we are now taking down a whole house clearance to. Customer service costs nothing.
Had several bags of childrens clothes/shoes. Served by matthew who was extremely helpful and informative. Explained how Cash for Clothes worked the recycling of good second hand clothes to Africa/ Thank you and will come again.

Great. Get cash for your unwanted clothes, curtains, shoes and electrical goods. And they go to other countries who have very little. I think this is a great set up.
Found cash 4 clothes website and took some of my childrens clothes to recycle greated with a hi as he checked my clothes were not damaged explained other item they took bedding and electrical and told me they were exported to Africa so I'm happy they go to someone who needs them
