The food was unbelievably delicious. The lamb was flavourful and tender. Really enjoyed it! The service wasn’t great as we had to remind our waiter on two occasions. Otherwise everyone was polite. But overall amazing and definitely recommend. Perfect for a date night.Recommended dishes

First of all the service was excellent, staff really polite and friendly. Second the food was amazing! Me and my friend had a sirloin steak and it was absolute heaven! Definitely coming back again! Plus the house special Rose wine was delicious!

It was a sunny Saturday and decided to have a bit of a steaky dinner.  We did book our table but it wasn't busy and I'm sure we could have been seated without the reservation. We were seated upstairs which is exciting.  It's very much like being downstairs but you have to walk up the stairs to get to the upstairs area so you are quite literally higher up than you would be if you were downstairs.  Anyway, I'm getting carried away with the upstairs downstairs thing here.  It really isn't that important. I'll move on. A smashing member of the team came and took our drinks order and she was very polite and professional and friendly.  When the drinks arrived we placed our order and we didn't have starters but went straight to the steaks! We had a mixture of fillets, ribeyes, and sirloins and they all were fantastic.  Each cooked perfectly. As a sauce I had the beef dipping sauce which is so good. In fact I think it should really be served by the pint.  Anyway,  we all really enjoyed our meals and would recommend visiting if you enjoy some steak action from time to time.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Miller and Carter. The service was fast, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. We had 3 courses and cocktails. If you love steak I highly recommend a visit, though their menu does include fish, chicken and vegetarian options. we will definitely be back

Great food, kind service, good range of dietary needs and a range of food choices! Please note: This does not cater for gluten intolerance as I know, ask to confirm . Personally I had the 8oz rump steak.. Both my friends had the plant burger!  Vegetarian options: Good range of options, plant burger was &#39;Fabulous&#39; and there is easily enough, considering its a steakhouse!  Dietary restrictions: Good tolerance of restrictions. And caters well for them.

Dined for a birthday celebration meal. Everyone said their food was fantastic. I had the Black Angus Sirloin 12Oz steak which was cooked extremely well and the sides with it where delicious too. A great meal out for special occasions.

It was a date night visit on a Saturday evening and was our first visit. We had the butchers block to share. The waitress was very knowledgeable and talked us through exactly what it came with and how we’d like each steak cooked. It consisted of a filet each, a rump and a ribeye to share, 2 onion loaves, 2 sauces and the bone marrow. Presentation was perfect. Steaks were cooked to our liking although the rump came well done but it wasn’t worth complaining about. I’ve never had a rump steak which hasn’t been like a sole of a boot. The filets and ribeye was perfect, flavoursome bark on the outside, pink juicy and melt in the mouth. The onion loaf was a nice touch and very tasty. We had a pan seared scallops although the smaller one was overcooked but still delicious. The table was for two which by the time the platter, sides, chips, salad wedge and drinks went on, it’s was uncomfortably small as it was so full. Our waitress was helpful and attentive. Food came quickly and was hot, fresh and cooked pretty much to our liking and tasty. Overall we had a nice experience and will definitely be visiting Hereford Miller and Carter again.

Absolutely scrumptious  I had the grilled salmon ... cooked to perfection. The best Ive ever had!  The only tip we could give... is to have bigger plates for the steaks. Obviously they fit on the plate but was a bit tricky when cutting. Otherwise all excellent . Staff were very helpful when ordering and had excellent customer service. Our seating area was very clean and welcoming. Thanks again

The food was quickly ordered and served. The results were perfect and each meal was correct to the person that ordered. The service was respectful and always on time. The grill chef cooked each steak perfectly. The kind staff were easily able to make any special requests a reality. One improvement may be the “blue” steak when ordering a 30 day aged rump 7oz as it could have been considered “rare” but it was understandable as the thin cut would make this very difficult to complete.
