Me and my partner went to Carter Geering as wanted to upgrade to a bigger flat. Had viewings with Charlotte and ended up finding our perfect place. Charlotte has been helpful, friendly and has gone out of her way to provide information and help for us. We are moving in soon and cant wait. Very efficient and professional service.

We were very disappointed with our experience renting with this estate agents. The best advice we would offer is to take a ridiculous amount of photos before you move in in order to prove the state it was in when you got it. We spent a number of months fighting to get our deposit back eventually successfully because the estate agents were claiming it wasn't clean enough despite the state it was in when we got the keys. Further to the “reply from owner “ - I have always been of the opinion reviews are best written when some time has passed and not in anger which is why I waited as long as I did before posting. I stand by my original post that the property was in poor condition in places when we were handed the keys - whilst the estate agents called once, after the amount of stress we were placed under we did not want to speak with them again. I certainly have the correct estate agents.

A five star service was experienced due to Carter Geering Estate Agents. Charlotte and Jenny could not have done more for us and made everything quite effortless. Not only very professional but also friendly. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a property.

I have to say, we are deeply disappointed with this agency, who are more biased towards the landlords then their tenants. The quality of the property we decided to rent was a lot to be desired, but we needed something urgent so we made do, thankfully we spent time and effort in making into a home, even though a lot of it was not fit for purpose (rusty bath...tatty kitchen). The landlord let us down, as did the agent, who in our opinion did not help us fight for our deposit when we chose to terminate the tenancy, thank the lord for TDS. I was under the impression, obviously naively that the agent should actually make sure that a property be in the 21st Century and at the very least given a deep clean before a tenant steps through the door, especially in our case when the agent required us to pay 6 month rental. We are now with an agency that actually care and listen to their tenants, with the fees including an inventory clerk, who made sure before we signed for anything, that we viewed the property and were more than happy with the report and the photographs taken. Unbelievably we have a landlord who actually cares and allows us to share his home which is in the 21st Century, and not in a house that is circa 1970s with regards to fixtures and fittings. The staff at DS&L are more than helpful, we feel that it is the actual management/director, who let them down. Without prejudice!

Really good experience and service with Carter Geering. Staff are friendly and professional. Always knew where I stood as I went through the process of moving in and never ever felt left in the dark over any issues or queries I had. Carter Geering made what can be a daunting, frustrating perhaps even overwhelming process as simple and hassle free as possible. Would recommend to anyone looking to move into a new property.
