Story

Cartel is a new late-night tequila bar & taqueria that boasts an extensive tequila-based cocktail menu and specialises in authentic, hand-pressed tacos. The venue was inspired by the traditional taqueria: a street food stall offering inexpensive tacos and other Mexican dishes, served without pomp and ceremony but packed with flavour. It’s also set to be a buzzing live music and DJ venue, with bands playing in the evening from Thursday to Saturday guaranteed to keep guests dancing until dawn.

Great looking Mexican themed bar recently opened in Battersea area. The cocktails are absolutely amazing with a great tequila based kick to them. The staff and service are on point and arranging to come back with a group of friends to try out the Tacos.

I love this place, the staff are so friendly and it has such a great menu! Ask Josh to choose a cocktail for you and your friends and I’m sure you’ll love them!
Not a great choice in the food menu... but.... all there is there is very good and the service is attentive too. Inexpensive, I would highly recommend it for a cheap and cheerful night out with friends. Decor is Mexican canteen, as basic as it gets, but it works beautifully for the space and the food served. Would definetely go back.
Cocktails are really tasty and creative. Great happy hour! Love the atmosphere. Nice and friendly staff. Plus they let us bring in our dog when it's not busy.
Don’t know what the drinkers of Battersea did when they wanted a cool cocktail before Cartel turned up. Amazing agave cocktails in a chilled environment, complete with thoroughly tasty food, and banging bar staff. No wonder it’s fast become a neighbourhood favourite. Try the prawn tacos and the Mezcal Old Fashioned
