I bought a VW polo from this branch, and I have to say I was very impressed with all aspects of my dealing with them right from the start. communication with Mike was great, he always responded promptly, and gave detailed answers. I never felt that it was too many questions and he was courteous and professional throughout. He negotiated a great deal. on the day I collected my car, I dealt with Joe. He was a great lad, very enthusiastic, and an asset to the company. Overall a great dealership, and I would definitely recommend.
If I could put zero stars here I would but can’t.nPoor and incorrect service from start to finish. Misdiagnosed the problem with the car initially. This included trying to charge me 2 hours labour, nearly £400, to change a plug in and easily accessible relay when it would take no more than 10 minutes. This however was not the problem when my own mechanic tried to fix it. Back to yeomans again where they proceeded to tell me that I needed to pay £1000 on account to try and find the issue. All that with no guarantee the problem would be found so would likely have paid much more on top. Needless to say I refused and picked the car up. They never answer the phones…I tried over and over. In the end I had to drive over to have some form of communication. Manager Simon bell has been asked twice to call me and still didn’t. They damaged my machine polished paintwork but didn’t care and still refuse to put it right. Absolutely shocking.
Car went in for a fault finding appointment and fault confirmed on same day. Picked car up and was told they would be in contact in the next couple of days to confirm a date for repair. Didn't hear anything after 7 days, so called multiple times, each time being ensured that I would get a call back. Never had one. This was over 2 weeks ago now. Lash up and poor customer service.
Having visiting the service department with my poorly polo, was delighted by the team, was felt very welcomed and completely supported me through all the repairs. Great job and fixed within 2 days and back on the road. Would definitely return. Just like to say Hayley was very knowledgeable about my car and couldn’t help enough.
Recently bought a Polo GTI from Yeoman's and I can't fault the experience. I contacted them through Auto Trader initially and was contacted not that long afterwards. I dealt with Michael B who ran through all the details of the car that he knew about then sent a video and pictures. He was happy for me to scrutinize the pictures and was honest about imperfections he had noticed. That being said, it was a 50k mile car so it was probably going to have imperfections here and there. We went through different payment options and we settled on financing rather than buying outright. Michael passed me on the Mike W who was equally as pleasant to deal with. Answering and finding out answers to all of my questions. We set a date for picking up and I was picked up from the station. Most form's were checked and signed remotely so it was a smooth transaction when arriving to the dealership. I found the level of customer service from the team at different processes were fantastic. It's made me have faith in buying from dealership rather than 2nd hand dealerships and possibly even private sales as you have a higher level of protection. Thank you all again! I had a fantastic 250+ mile trip home.
