Nice to find a car rental company where the price you see is the price you pay. No crazy deposits or up-selling tactics. Some vans might be older, but good runners at affordable prices!! The service is great by comparable standards. Everyone I dealt with were flexible and polite. I will definitely rent from these guys again! Thumbs up!
Happy to support this local business - yes, it’s a bit like the Fawlty Towers of car rental, but in a good way. Hired a group A manual car yesterday and was upgraded to a Renault Megane. Yes the cars you get here aren’t new this one had 108,000 miles on the clock but it was clean and did the job. Prices here are very competitive and it’s a no fuss, no frills operation. It also has good/extended opening hours which makes pick up/drop off easier. Only thing to bear in mind is that because the cars are older and diesel you need to factor in the ULEZ.
CarPoint is a no-frill hire vehicles, much cheaper than Europcar especially as I could return the van on Sunday morning. The van had significant mileage, however it was in very good conditions, both to drive and externally. It has never failed its MOTs, it felt it was looked after. You don't get free coffee and the area looks rough externally, but pricing was good, real no-frills. Ideal if you need a van to move out for exemple.
Gutless old van with 200k miles on the clock and wet flooring. The side door had been replaced and wouldn't open. They also wrongly charged me for fuel a few days later, with no notification. I returned it with a full tank, so feel rather cheated. I wouldn't use them again.

Carpoint Vehicle Hire Ltd looked after us at a very challenging time and continue to do so, for this we are indebted and eternally grateful. Thank you will never be enough. Will be recommending to everyone : and will only use this service in the future. Inexpensive, cars are great runners, drive really well and great service and considerate too e.g. they ensured extra heating and covers in our vehicle on a cold day whilst doing community work. Credit card and British driving license at hand, I've been asked: -Where exactly would go -Provide my NIN -Provide a bill at my name as a proof of address I traveled all over Europe and always rented cars. I even did rent cars from them before and I've never EVER had to provide any of those. The only reason I can think of is about my nationality, but I really hope I'm wrong.
Dirty office really really dirty should have been a clue to the overall attitude on maintenance, Harry is a joke the guy has serious attitude. All the cars have issues and the vans are disgusting old and unroadworthy. Basic maintenance would help overcharged and they had the cheek to moan at me for saying about the oil leak that ruined my driveway. Avoid at all costs !!! How can you charge these prices for a £500 van lol get real Never again !!!!
No nonsense hire place. Very little admin and good prices. Vans are old and a bit tatty, but we hires a van to pose in?
I’ve used these guys a few times and think they are great value for money. You get what you pay for. The guy on the desk is friendly and funny, I would recommend them to anyone.
This is a cheap place to rent a cheap van - yes the forecourt looks like a bomb has gone off, but you won't find many cheaper places locally to pick up a no hassle white van.
