As my local curry's PC world, I have been here multiple times in multiple situations. for purchasing a washing machine with my elder family, it was a perfectly normal trip. the staff were rather friendly and were rather helpful when question by my mother (even if they were blatantly trying to upsell another machine to her). my one reason for the lack of another star is that this situation does not guide you completely. they will judge you upon entry and decide on their schemes then. I went with 2 friends (all college age, including myself), and it was obvious they did not want us there. this in turn made me make my £100 purchase from amazon, since it was clear the curry's staff felt they were too good for me and my friend. they need to learn that just because a group entering the store may look rough, while it is obvious they should give them some form of surveillance to avoid theft, they should allow some chance so as to avoid another situation such as mine.

We waited a while to be serviced today but it was well worth our wait. The staff wherever you apologetic and also very helpful. We where very satisfied with our purchase we made. We would recommend this store.10/10 Excellent

Currys PC World's featuring Carphone Warehouse in Kew Retail Park in Southport is a big standard store. It's smaller than the one down the road in Aintree but will no doubt stock the same products, just with less space. Staff are helpful most of the time, but are sometimes bound by poor company rules and regulations. They can discount products to then offer their care package, but don't be fooled into being bullied into take this in exchange for discount in the product. If they can discount product with it, they can without it.

Never liked Curry's mainly for their lack of aftercare. If a product develops a defect in the first year of manufacturers guarantee, they won't replace unless you have their "NotSoKnowHow" insurance otherwise they will only repair the product not replace. I was left without a 3 month old defected TV for 2 months and it was returned from their repair centre broken. Stick to Amazon or Argos...

Good choice. The salesman who dealt with us was a bit too forceful, trying to get us to buy all the extras which was a bit off-putting.
