The shop itself has plenty of parking and many different items to look at in store with a section for small appliances, washers, dryers, and fridge freezers upstairs. We had a lot of issues with our order, the staff at the shop itself are amazing. They did all they could to help and fix our problems. The customer service line is not worth calling. In my opinion, it is better to visit in store if you have any issues with delivery. The customer service line will not generally help, and there is no direct line to call the store itself. Make sure you measure correctly when ordering a large item, as delivery drivers will not even get your item out of the van if it won't fit. Also, make sure you are aware of all optional extras you might need them. All in all, I am satisfied with the purchases made and will be used again.
Disappointing visit, after checking stock online the store staff were unable to find the item. Upon entry we were greeted by a pleasant and approachable gentleman who directed us to the counter. The staff at the counter were fairly despondent and had no idea what a chromecast was. After aimlessly walking around claiming they had no idea where the stock is now kept. After several minutes waiting it was suggested we go to Hedgend as they'll know where theirs are. I'm assuming the gentleman that greeted us was the floor manager, it was a shame that he did not seem interested in helping his colleagues find the product. Considering the shop had more staff than customers a bit of effort would have been appreciated. The fact that the store's stock file is clearly poorly organised is a poor reflection on the business and staffs attitude/actions only highlights the poor stereotype that Currys has.
Went in expecting poor service from the reviews but the staff were wonderful, super helpful and also had a chat about the reviews it's just people who tried to return stuff after two years of buying the product etc, people just not getting there own way. Brilliant helpful staff, good selection of products, 10/10
Small, Quiet and Perfectly Formed. BEKO EnergySpin BM3WT3941W 9 kg 1400 Spin Washing Machine - White. A great little machine, perfectly formed! It is so quiet, we can't believe it. It has brilliant 38 minute 60 degree, and shorter 30 degree cycles for lightly soiled items - ideal to save power and water. It deserves its A+ rating. We have the same product in our apartment abroad and have recommended it to our friends. Date of experience: 27 September 2024
Popped into currys this week and bought two new phones and a separate sim for our son. Jake on phone section was extremely helpful, friendly and offered us the best advice. Extremely happy with the service Jake gave us. He is an asset to Currys. His service was brilliant a couple of years ago too. Hope your manager sees this and you get the recognition you deserve
One person seeing to customers top floor park gate stood 30min gave up went to Argos bought the samec product it was the same price I was quite happy to buy at Currys but had to give up in the end
If your buying a large appliance from Currys - dont. Strap in for a rollercoaster story My Mum got herself a fridge freezer for her new place, got it delivered and put in, as she cant use the fridge with one of her hands she paid for the door to be swapped.. when delivered, no parts included to swap the door over.. ok we can always get those.. turn the fridge on after so many hours letting the gas settle - fridge doesnt work. Go back to currys and explain situation - no problem.. swap fridge out but the model she wanted isnt in stock anywhere.. so picks new fridge where the door can be swapped over... delivery in a weeks time.. brill sorted still not 100% happy as her insulin ect has to be binned... Delivery day today.. new fridge has come.. but he cant take old fridge away?! So now theyr expecting her to pay for someone to collect the old fridge..that doesnt work.. that isnt even hers?! So now its sitting in the middle of her kitchen. Lets hope the new fridge works. Call currys customer care - you have to go into store to sort?! WHY HAVE A CUSTOMER CARE IF YOU CANT DEAL WITH THESE THINGS OVER THE PHONE?! Currys we are really really disappointed. Not only has her medication had to be binned and replaced, so has her food and shes been without said fridged food for 10 days. Now a fridge freezer is in her kitchen.. fire risk, falls risk.. no care whatsoever. Cant leave the fridge outside.. then she could be at risk of being kicked out.. so what happens now - if you care for someone vulnerable and they need a fridge. Dont waste your money.. go elsewhere. Delivery drivers were amazing and would give them 5 stars and more.
Waited at currys for 20 mins to buy a tv.. store was dead. Went to the till… manager just told me to wait by the tvs and someone will come over when they’re free. Stood for further 5 mins watching g the staff do nothing…. Walked out… I’ll visit the hedge end store tomorrow and see if they’re interested in serving customers.
Today Sunday the 15th September, we went to currys to buy a laptop for our sons pending 11th birthday,, all staff where very helpful, and was spoilt for choice of stock. A great guy called Matt looked after us very well, and the whole time was very polite, we only mentioned once about our sons 11th birthday, and he was so good with us all, hours later when we got home , we discovered a happy birthday card and 10 voucher for amazon, this is great service and a lovely bonus, thankyou matt for great customer service today.
