I have always had a great experience with the Gosport team. No pressure sales on insurance, recommending ideal phones to suit you, never try to push a particular model, which is always what happened to me in Phones4U. Glad I chose them over anywhere else
Searching for a new phone they were really helpful in explaining differences without any hard sell. Consequently I returned a couple of months later and bought my i-phone from them . They were really helpful again answering all my questions and transferring content from my old phone to the new one. Including fitting the protective cover and case. Thank you Alex and Stephen and Lee for the first visit.
Brilliant service. The lovely man Stephen help me with no pressure. Took his time with helping me I was not rushed or made to feel silly with not knowing what I was talking about. Would recommend Stephen to all my friends. I left the shop with confidence and knowing what I have.
Horrible experience. Tried to buy a pair of Huawei Freebud 3 headphones from Gosport carphone warehouse. I legally cannot sell you the headphones unless you give us you postcode for the guarantee. When challenged they stopped saying legal and used expression company policy. So it is carphone warehouses policy to gather data it does not require legally telling customers they must give over private data Run do not walk away. Data pirates
Avoid at all costs, non existent customer service, rude and obnoxious staff. Will push you to whatever phone is under their sales targets regardless of whether its the best deal for you. If you choose another option be prepared for the hard sell. Refuse to take out insurance and you'll suffer some more scare tactics. You have been warned.............!
Terrible service at Gosport. Rhey do not help you find a phone at all. I had to call the main customer service line to get some advice. I went three times to pick a phone. They do not know there phones at all. They also charge for transferring data between phones. I would go to another branch. They are also rude.
I have just been to this store to upgrade my phone and rather than push something on me that I didn't want they asked me what I wanted which for a mobile phone shop was quite a novelty.Iwas served by Stephen friendly professional and all round good egg what more can I say I won't be going anywhere else for my phone and anyone else that asks I will be recommending this shop
Staff are brilliant always very helpful I've been with carphone warehouse for years and can't imagine going anywhere else for my phone - can't fault them
