To Dawn receptionist If this person exists just to say how disappointed I was with her slamming the phone down on my first call. And for her echoing response of I am not speaking to you anymore on the second call when I requested to speak to the office manager. I was concerned about my son health and felt my request to be reasonable But dealt with very clinically and unprofessionally. I hope this attitude never causes serious implications, try listening and helping that what your paid to do. Ps Still waiting my call back hope they listen to the recording.
Had a text message at 15:20 to say I am entitled to have a flu jab. Great I thought. Called at my first opportunity 17:10 to be told sorry we have no more appointments or jabs left!!!
Dinas Powys Medical centre has a beacon of light in the form of Wendy Ahearne. Often times it is frustrating to try and get through to the centre but once you do and manage to speak to Wendy A it is a joy, her assistance, kindness and willingness to go above and beyond makes her a most valuable team member. Thank you to whomever hired Wendy, it was the best decision ever made for the practice. The five stars is for Wendy Ahearne.
I went into the surgery at 8 30 am Carol, reception &Nurse Sister Susannah, were both so helpful and reassuring to me...THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I have tried 60 times to get through by phone , day after day, you now can’t email a request to see a doctor , you aren’t allowed to turn up and book in person. The receptionist I did eventually speak to was rude and clearly Didn’t care. Ring back nothing I can do , no appointments till August . A terrible state of affairs.
This is the most crazy place to put a medical centre. Right at the top of a steep hill. It nearly kills me walking up there. I feel I need to see a doctor when I get there. Who's brain dead idea was it to put it there???
The dr I had was rude and useless, found a lump on my body that was a concern. She didn’t care and had 0 interest in telling me anything. When I asked a question she was belittling and again had 0 interest in informing me of anything. Just rude.
Can never get through on the phone and when I eventually did I was told there was only one doctor working on a Monday ridiculous
Great place to go if I'll nice staff very well organised .hopefully will spend less time there soon ..
Dinas Powis Medical Centre is a shining example of a first class GP practice. I have been lucky to use if for about 40 years and have always received excellent service both from the receptionists, the doctors and nurses. My family and I have never had a problem getting an appointment. The new premises are first class and not only have a pharmacy but enable other services such as physio to be offered.
