Not many places I would give 5 stars, but this is one of the gems in Hendon, London. The coffee is a dream, strong yet deliciously brewed at the perfect temperature. Strong and nutty flavoured. When you are on holiday, one would think that you would like to try as much variety as possible, but we ended up having our breakfast 3 days straight at Carpe Diem. We love the ciabata ham and cheese due not only to their flavoursome filling but also the crunch of the ciabata a must try. We also had, on one occasion, the scrambled eggs with bacon, which was also made to our liking. Finally, seldom do I see such excellent service and PR from cafe owners but their attentiveness, always smiling and taking the time to make small talk to someone who has just walked into their cafe for the first time makes eating there a joy. There's outside seating as well as in- cafe seating and a definite recommendation for anyone wanting some coffee and warm food there.

I don’t normally drink coffee but I wanted to try their coffee - perhaps I would prefer coffee over tea! I had caffe latte and a chocolate chip cookie. The caffe latte was good that it had quenched my thirst. The cookie wasn’t bad and not overly sweet. It was crumby and slightly dry. The ambience is relaxing, a good place to have coffee with your friends. It’s not big inside so it’s good for solo people or small groups.  Staff was friendly - I appreciated their hospitality. I recommend you to stop by for good quality coffee!

Very clean and lovely staff. Prices are very fair for what you get to compare with other places. I think the decorations need a but of touch to make the place a bit cosier. In general would recommend and will go back there again.

I really enjoy this coffee shop. It's very relaxing, has many different seating areas, I like the ambiance. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the coffee is delicious. I love their fresh-brewed coffee and cold brew drip. Also, I've never had a problem with my order being messed up. I highly recommend this place!Food: 5/5

The owners and the staff are a lovely bunch. The cafe prioritises quality above everything and after being a customer here for over six years, I've never had any issues.  I've always been treated like family at this place and I have great respect for these people.  Parking: Plenty of free parking in the area with the one hour exception of 11AM-12PM

Nice cafe with experienced staff, that obviously understand good coffee.
