Plantation for unvetted male immigrants. No women or children or the most vulnerable to been seen. These places need to be held accountable when it comes crumbling down. Shame on them.
Not closed as shown, housing asylum seekers. Women and kids avoid for your own safety
All of the housekeeping staff and the front desk staff were all helpful and friendly. Wifi was fine. Masses of free parking. BUT There was an adjoining door to another room from my room - obviously standard - but what was non-standard was that I was entertained to the TV, radio, conversations and personal grooming activities of every occupant of the adjoining room which is impossible when you are trying to work / sleep and when the occupants next door seem to be very excitable - a bit of sound proofing would be a good idea - it was literally like I was staying with them. Pretty messy bar area, lack of food options in the afternoon, no room service, and one of the lifts was broken
My wife and I spent one night. It’s is advertised as a 4 star hotel. 3 star at best. Staff very friendly but not professional or able to deliver a 4 star service. It’s is a functional and sterile modern hotel. It has no character or charm that would entice one to return. The reception, restaurant and bar are effectively one one space separated by movable partitions. The furniture is basic at best and there is nothing to hold one to stay longer than necessary in the restaurant or bar. Overall very disappointed as the hotel will be soon forgotten. I would not recommend this hotel for someone looking for memorable experience.
Second time to overnight here. As previously room warm and comfortable. Was on the 1st floor floor this time. No big Debs this time, so noise levels low. No noisy neighbours either so communication door in the room wasn't a problem this time. Excellent breakfast. Reception Staff very friendly. Didn't interact with other staff. Again no problem chosing this hotel when next staying in the area.
Exceptional hotel!! The staff are both friendly and helpful and go out of their way to accommodate the whole family, they also go out of their way to make the children feel special and their holiday experience one to remember. The food quality is so tasty and the staff are so efficient in cooking and serving the food. It is an ideal hotel to visit as it is very quiet especially for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of daily lives. We had a room with a scenic view, it was amazing, mountains and greenery, when looking beyond the car park. Highly recommend this hotel!!
Recently stayed for two nights and would not recommend for a number of reasons. 1 Rooms are basic and functional, which is fine however walls are paper thin - we could hear the next door neighbour snoring and even going to the toilet! 2 Breakfast was not impressive - poor range available. Food was mediocre and ran out quickly. Not replenished for quite a while. Tea tastes horrible - prefilled flasks which had clearly been sitting for a while. Staff were lovely however, a very pleasant young man got me my own teapot when I explained the tea was horrible! 3 Only one vegetarian option on the restaurant menu. When I asked if there were any other alternatives, the chef said no. This is very poor. Sadly, we will not be back.
My daughter and I booked into hotel on Friday 19th July for two nights. We had a very relaxing break and really enjoyed our stay. The room and leisure centre was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was delicious and we will certainly be going back again.Rooms: 5/5
It's a lovely place local to where we were visiting. Bed was very comfortable. One or two issues. Staff need to learn to pour a decent pint of anything. The heads on the pints were huge! Service in bar and restaurant was slow. Maybe a few more staff required ? The emergency light near the bedroom door was a tad too bright. I like my room in total darkness.
This was my second time to overnight in this hotel. It is a modern one which is located on the outskirts of the town. Taxi ride to town is €8 - €10, if you don't want to drive. Room was warm and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth and efficient and with a lovely generous breakfast included this hotel was excellent value.
