Very nice carvery. Generous helpings of food for what they charge. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking in both car parks but if you have kids maybe best to park in the smaller car park on the same side of the hotel as the road can be busy to cross. I recall there used to be a tunnel under the road but not sure if it's still open. Don't forget to get the code at reception to exit car parks as there is an electronic barrier on exit.

The hotel has been better days but it still has an elegance to it. The bar serves nice food in a cosy atmosphere and I have always felt very looked after. I normally stay here on work trips but that means I am spending more time in the hotel in the evening. The pool is really well equipped with a sauna and plunge pool. There is also a lovely garden with mini golf.

I visited the Carrickdale Hotel for dinner and drinks in the bar. Staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone

A really cosy hotel. The room I had was very spacious with thick walls so it was very quiet. Breakfast was nice but plenty of food on offer. Room was warm but it took a little of playing with the thermostat. Would stay again.
