Have not been for a while but it's a great restaurant. Great food and service, still has the classic dishes but will have seasonal menus again. Brilliant as this means variety. Had the cheese platter to finish and was blown away by the selection. Well done.
Nice place, good service, friendly staff, obviously expensive.. risotto was bit salty.. love tiramisu here.. tried Rum baba and it was rummy
Very enjoyable experience. Right next to the station and the car park for Calverley so easy to get to. Great atmosphere and feels very romantic as the lights are slightly dimmed. Food is very good and a decent choice is a available for a reasonable price. Service is also very good and staff are polite and well mannered. There is also a shop at the beginning of the restaurant by the looks of it, which is unusual.
Just came here for lunch with my brother and we both had the swordfish, which was cooked to perfection, along with the green beans and courgettes. So fresh and tasty. Staff service always great and today we had Lukas : Thank you!
Carluccio's goes through ups and downs in quality of food and presentation. On my last visit the food was good, although the sharing plates have got smaller over the years. The staff are excellent, keep up the good work! ps please bring back wooden boards for sharing platters.
I've only ever had good experiences in Carluccio's, from the breakfasts to the evening meals. Staff are really delightful - always make me feel welcome. Good, solid Italian food - sometimes you just want a good lasagne and it delivers. The Tunbridge Wells branch is objectively one of their strongest locations in terms of ambiance I have no idea of the financial performance per cover!.
Brilliant set up for the little ones with seating opposite each other and colouring activities all set up before we arrived for our booking! Literally less than 1 min walk from Tunbridge Wells station, beautiful warm cosy atmosphere, spacious table arrangements good spacing between diners at each table and tables not crammed close together to squeeze in more diners, good service and good general facilities although toilets did not appear to have access for wheelchair users. Not five star in my opinion because apart from the access issue for wheelchair users, not the best Italian food around in my opinion not big on flavour especially compared with exceptional Italian restaurants like Vesuvius in Maidstone an off the beaten path family run business.
Always busy so you need to book...great atmosphere ..buzzy. Good menu selection and cater well for gluten and dairy free. Reasonably priced. Service can be a little "relaxed", especially when busy..but staff are always great.
Great food with super friendly and efficient staff. A lovely place to have a family meal or a chilled out brunch. They offer a great takeaway deli selection which you can order takeaway picnics from.
We were looking for somewhere to eat in Tunbridge Wells, so decided to try Carluccio's. We had booked a table online, but it appeared that it wasn't too busy today. We all ordered starters mains and desserts and enjoyed every course. The service received from staff was brilliant and they were able to suggest an alternative meal when one was unavailable. The food arrived in good time and was well presented. For those wanting pizza, try somewhere else, as this Carluccio's only serves other Italian meals. Next time I am in the area, I would definitely consider coming back to Carluccio's.
