Story

We have well established, multidisciplinary clinics which have built up an excellent reputation over the past 12 years. Our clients range from adults and children through to international athletes and premiership footballers (Carl Todd acts as a consultant to Chelsea FC and the FA, providing osteopathic sports care to the England football team). All our therapists offer a variety of healthcare services including osteopathy, physiotherapy, Pilates, sports medicine, podiatry, acupuncture, sports massage therapy and pre and post op rehabilitation, which is intended to help treat and prevent acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain and sports injuries.
We always endeavour to provide each patient with a prompt, professional and friendly service, whilst offering the highest standard of care at all times.
The Carl Todd Clinics have a large patient base and the practices are located in Corsham (between Bath and Chippenham), Swindon and at the BMI Ridgeway Hospital, Wroughton. Our three private clinics, have fully qualified staff, helping patients make full and swift recoveries in order to live healthier lifestyles. We understand that each patient is different, so all our treatment programmes are designed to suit individual needs.

We are associates of the CircleBath hospital, and recognised by all major insurance providers including Bupa and AXA PPP.

I have only good things to say about Sian at Carl Todd clinic. My back was causing me random excruciating pain and Sian took me through and treatment program with exercises to do daily and these two together have worked wonders.
I moved from the UK to Australia in 2011 however I return to the UK twice a year to visit family and friends. I only ever see Carl to treat any injuries on my visits back to the UK, his professionalism and knowledge of the body is unique. Within one session, he has identified the issue, treated it and provided me with stretches and strengthening techniques to self-manage the issue going forward. Carl is without a doubt the best in the industry!
After seeing around 6 different people over the past 3 years i was referred to Paul Tuffs by Carl Todd for my leg problems. Paul has done what no one else has done and helped me back running. I highly recommend both Carl and Paul and can’t thank them enough. 1st class service
Carly’s Pilates classes are excellent, she takes time to understand your needs so she can offer variations on the same exercise. This makes the class feel very personalised. I’ve been going to Carly’s class for several years now and as a result I hardly ever experience back pain. Prior to this I experienced daily back pain. The classes and occasional Osteopathy sessions have made a positive difference to my back health. I highly recommend the Carl Todd Clinic for Pilates and Osteopathy.
I’ve been going to 1-1 Pilates classes with Carly for a few months now and I have seen such a massive improvement in my joints. Having hypermobile joints means that I tend to have lots of problems with stability and pain. Carly has been amazing at working with me and my condition to help improve my stability and movement and I’ve seen a significant improvement with my pain levels too. I can’t recommend Carly and the Carl Todd clinic enough.
I was recommended to see Carl through a family friend who had also received treatment. I've been suffering from severe headaches for on and off for just over 10 years. I've seen Carl a few times now and this has been the longest in a few years I've gone without a headache. I would definitely recommend Carl to anyone who feels like they could be in need of some Osteopathy.
You will not find anyone better!! I have been seeing Carl for near on 20 years now and wouldnt go anywhere else. His knowledge never fails to amaze me and every injury I have ever had Carl has manage to sort. Highly recommended.
I could not recommend the Carl Todd clinic more! I have been treated by a number of the team there and found them all to be brilliant whenever I have required treatment and help! Most recently I suffered an innocuous sports shoulder trauma that was giving me real pain, restricted movement and as a result trouble sleeping. Following thorough consultancy from doctors and private medical care, including having multiple MRI’s and X-rays on the shoulder, I was advised surgery was going to be required to rectify the issue. Given I was hoping to avoid surgery at a young age I sought a further opinion from the team at the clinic. I was treated and given a full rehab plan and having followed that I regained movement and have been able to strengthen the joint up again. I have been fully able to continue my sports as before and have suffered no pain or issues since - most importantly though I avoided surgery! Am extremely grateful to the team and my only regret on that instance was not going to see them sooner!!

I had a long term running injury, eventually saw Carl for a few sessions and after some great work got me back running again, would highly recommend.
