Story

Carioca is now well known for the best brunch in Brixton and for us it it’s all about providing every customer with an excellent tasty brunch whether it is Brazilian inspired or the best of the British classics. If it’s a snack you are after, then lazy afternoons are a treat at our little eatery with a selection of beautiful homemade cakes baked daily, and delicious sandwiches prepared to order. Perhaps a nice cappuccino with that?

For dinner, our guests can enjoy traditional dishes like our popular feijoada, the chargrilled spicy chicken , mouth watering chargrilled beef and bacon skewers with bell pepper and onion served with cassava fries, or beef rib croquettes with Brazilian churrasco sauce to name but a few.

And believe it or not Brazilians can be vegetarians too. Although they are a small minority of the people of Brazil, the trend of eating less meat is slowly catching on. Check our menu to see what we offer if meat is not your thing.

And of course you can’t go past Brazils’ national cocktail, the caipirinha to start or complete your meal. Once prescribed for patients of the Spanish Flu, and still the best way to stay healthy and happy!

Then upload your photo of what you ordered at Carioca Brixton or Carioca Boxpark East Croydon (the image must include food, not just a drink) and include (ADD HASHTAG) in the description. Finally, tag the friend you would like to take in the caption.
> You may enter as many times as you like, but all entries must be unique.
> The prize: One winner will be selected each month to win (INSERT PRIZE)
> The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
> Winner selection: The monthly winners will be selected using the following criteria:
a. Creativity
b. Quality of the photograph.
> Entries will be rejected if they:
a. Contain defamatory, malicious, indecent or other inappropriate content;
b. Represent a danger to health and safety;
c. Refer to illegal activities;
d. Include copyrighted material not owned by you.
> Winner notification: Winners will be announced and tagged on the @carioca_london Instagram feed within 10 working days. In the event that the winner has not responded within seven days of notification then the promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize to a reserve winner.
> By entering, you agree that Carioca may publish your photo on the Carioca website and on their social media channels.
> The winner may not change their decision on the winning item after they have been selected.
> By entering, winners agree that if they win they will participate in any reasonable publicity arranged by The Promoter or its agencies.
