Avoid like the plague, look at recent reviews. Its not worth coming here if you buy a car here with issues which is likely because they've proven they dont check cars. Check recent news. You are out of luck. Sold me a car with multiple body panels repainted and with paint and lacquer peeling. Disgusting business practices, charge an extortionate admin fee. My car on pickup didnt start, whats worse is it was sold with an electrical issue which Cargiant refused to compensate for time, money and energy used to get it fixed. Please do yourself a favour, come here see if you like a car and test drive them and buy elsewhere. Cargiant reply to reviews about emailing their social team and so and so and dont even respond to them. No after sales, no checks you are better off buying private and saving money.
I’m shocked and disgusted at the way I was spoken to on my visit this weekend. I was treated appallingly on my visit to CarGiant. The worst customer service you can imagine. The “manager” Ali wouldn’t give a last name was disrespectful and rude and asked me if I “was out of my mind” when I questioned his extraordinarily bad attitude and disrespectful manner. I had simply asked for written confirmation that my reservation fee would be refunded as the Mercedes I had placed on hold was riddled with damages unlisted on their website and only seen once I’d come to view the car. How embarrassing to even have a car in that condition on their forecourt!! He refused to help and said it wasn’t his problem and I would have to call the online sales team instead. I did call the sales team. I was placed on hold for a ridiculous amount of time before getting only verbal confirmation of the refund. I waited for written confirmation in an email which didn’t arrive. He and his supervisor came out of the office to shoo me away as I was on the phone loudly and upset of course to a friend talking about my bad experience and obviously it doesn’t look good for business! I was finally given the written confirmation of a refund only because it was clear I wasn’t leaving until it’d been issued. The manager’s supervisor had to do it. It took him mere minutes. A shame that wasn’t done in the first place and a shame they didn’t help, but instead Ali giving me nothing but rudeness from the start. Such a shame as have bought from them in the past with little issue. Obviously… NEVER AGAIN! I would not recommend these guys. Rude and they clearly need to brush up on their customer service training. Avoid!!!
Went here today with sole intention of purchasing and driving home in a car. My husband walked round in the rain, found the one he wanted and went back in to discuss payment. Sales guy suggested wrong pricing on the vehicle, provided a website print out and refused him access to a manager. Very disappointed with this experience and feel a conversation to discuss their error and impact on us would have been beneficial for all concerned.
I purchased a BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and 7 days later there was a Drivetrain error on the dashboard. Please be advised that the aftersales care is horrendous and if an issue occurs either way you will need to take the vehicle back to Cargiant. This is so they can check the vehicle themselves and they only offer a repair in-house. In my case, I was told to take the vehicle to Kwik-fit and when I got there was told by Kwik-fit that they do not have a trade account with Cargiant. I was able to take the vehicle to BMW directly which was what Kwik-fit also advised based on the fault with the vehicle. The total repairs quoted by BMW was £1805.08. I decided to "reject" the vehicle and please be aware that the process of rejection is time-consuming. Cargiant is always fully booked for about 3-4 weeks, this meant I was still with the same vehicle and not driving it due to the problem, as well as losing out on insurance and road tax I've already paid. Credit to Cargiant for paying for the inspection with BMW £160; however I was left with a car that wasn't safe to drive for 4 weeks. When it came to receiving my refund, I was told I would get the monies within 48 hours, this was not the case so I called again. The person I spoke to then told me, I would need to wait till Monday a further 5 days which I refused and the money was then sent the same day. The vehicle is now listed again on their website.
The experience of looking for a car was stress free. there was no pestering employees trying to sell you a car that you didn't want. The staff was very helpful and had good knowledge about the cars and helped point you in the right direction. the only problem that was encountered was which car to purchase.
Bought last car at this place few years ago and my previous one also. I had few minor issues they resolved with no problem. Recently went again and was looked after by Ibrahim G - he was super great, very knowledgeable on cars generally - you can tell he’s passionate, super informative etc really helped with what I want. Great service - will be back again
Best place for buying second hand cars and they got good range of cars of most brands with servicing, finance, insurance features. They are professional in this field with good technical teams. Liked the range of electric cars over here.. before purchasing an electric car make sure you applied for a government grant encouraging electric cars in UK.
The Overall experience with Car Giant was Good, staff are welcoming and friendly, they give you space to make your decision, no pressure to buy anything. The whole process of buying a car with them, is very easy and painless, they talk you through every step. The only complaint I have is that, the cleaning / prepping the car for collection was not as good as it should have been, there were marks left all over the plastic internal trim, the windscreen had smear marks on the inside, which made it fun when travelling home, after collection on the motorway in the dark. Better quality control is required. My other complain is that the test drive is so short, you drive down the industrial estate and back again total 4 min, I would have liked to have gone further, to properly test the car. I have used Car Giant 3 times over 15 years, you know what you are getting with them. There is no haggle or wiggle room with the car, you see a car, you like it, you drive away that day, simple. Would I use them again yes, they have a lot of selection, of cars which are constantly changing. They are worth a look and see.
Excellent service from start to finish. There was no pressure at all, I was given plenty of time to decide as there was a lot of choice. I test drove about 4 cars and I was made to feel welcome. Nothing was too much for them. They were recommended to me by family and I'm extremely pleased with the service and the Car is great too.
