Used Dan and Victoria for a good few years. Good business. Sorted my cracked tap out swiftly this week so we can go away in New Year as planned. Recommended if you need repairs or servicing. Thanks guys.
Took my dad's camper in for a service as his local garage is no longer trading. Friendly and efficient staff, all required jobs were explained and costed so no nasty surprises, all work carried out to a highly professional level. Very happy, will use again and recommend.
Telephoned them regarding issues with my daughters caravan she had to move into. Pleasant lady on phone who asked for an email with photos of issues which I sent. Not had a response after a fortnight. They appear to be to busy making money to reply , not good customer service. Even a reply saying they couldnt help would have been polite. Had a reply on Google stating the obvious "check your spam". I dont think so Dan, you didnt reply. Maybe you should be called "Dan the Spam man". Got some support now from another company less interested in chasing the money.
Not good. Fridge fine but they managed to drill through the fresh water pipe. Took it back to be fixed, they didn't have the right pipe, bodged it to no avail. Went back again & picked up the pipe... Wrong size again. Got my own 35mm pipe & fitted it myself. After there reply.. the "nick" in the pipe was a 12mm hole. When I took it back the 1st time after telling them the problem... They took the fridge out!!! Luckily it was raining so they saw me walking past & asked yet again what the problem was. That is when they tried the temporary bodged repair that didn't work. It would have been interesting to have seen them fit the new 38mm pipe onto the 35mm fittings!. I admit that I probably thought I was supposed to be there on a Wednesday at 10am. They called me on the Tuesday at 9:55am to ask where I was... I said I would set of then & see them at 12 as they said the engineer would be back at 11:30. I got there at 12 and went for a walk. Got back just after 1 & the van hadn't moved. That's when I asked for the new pipe to fit it myself. Shame it was the wrong size. Everyone makes mistakes, but people should admit too them.
Caravan Dan serviced my caravan and also diagnosed and repaired some issues. They were very professional, efficient and friendly. The work was very competitively priced. I would have every confidence in using them again and recommending them.
Left saw dust, cables and cut cableties all over the floor of the van, fridge fitting is good but i thought a little bit messy
Taken in for a service, couldn’t do it in one day so took it back a week later. He didn’t have time a so had to return home, what he did first time was bodged and the expensive, they said they’d ring to rebook it in but never did. Won’t use againService: Oil change
When I left my Hymer with Dan the main job was to get the roof strap seals and the rail seals replaced, not a cheap job but one that couldn't be ignored. There was also a list of other work I wanted him to look at, hab service, new kitchen tap, work on solar set up and a few other things. To say we're happy is an understatement, he's done a great job of the seals which gives us peace of mind and we're also delighted with all the other work carried out. I can't recommend Caravan Dan enough, we're already planning to have next years hab service done there and we'll make a holiday of it. He's a great guy to deal with, really knows his stuff, kept us informed of the progress and then gave us a very reasonable bill. 13/10/21 I’ve now had another batch of work carried out by Dan and his fantastic team. Just as professional as before, nothing too much trouble and again a good price. Dan found an issue with my leisure battery wiring while carrying out work. Some people may have ignored it but not Dan, if it needs doing it gets done. Highly, highly recommended. 10/10
