This was our second stop on our year uk tour. We have come from an expensive site so was unsure what to expect for our £10 bargin per night. The site is small but beautiful and has a feel of France. Surrounded by absolutely amazing walks and an abundance of wildlife, you may even see a badger! not to mention the Welsh pony's on site hen's and ducks. The facilities aren't top of the range but you get a hot shower for as long as you want...what more do you need really? Matlock and Bakewell are a must visit. Free range eggs just up the road on the left. The owner is pleasant and a character...luckily for us we could stay extra nights as our van broke down! A lovely place to stay and we will definitely be back im sure. 5* We aim for all our sites to be £10 per night for the year so please follow us on facebook "travel monkey's" if you are looking for the same ❤

Basic amenities but the owner is a star and it's nice and quiet
