Just to echo what others have already said about having to pay a parking charge to charge your EV is an awful decision by those who operate the parkingnAt least give 30 minutes free which would be ample time to charge
Which corporation owns this parking lot? Whatever profit they make should haunt them for scamming people in broad daylight. You know that EV drivers are desperate to charge their car while enroute and although the owner of Tesla who is worth trillions, the people who are driving the cars on a car loan aren’t millionaires. Why do we have to pay to park - an extortionate amount per hour - while we are charging our car? Tesla and the greedy corporation APCOA need to make a deal amongst themselves to validate and void the parking charges for who are using the charging facilities and not the shopping centre etc. Pay to charge and pay to park while charging your car is the biggest daylight robbery I’ve seen in a while. May you never reap from these profits.
The only carpark where those charging must pay for carpark and rates are extortionate! Just charged at Derbion in derby. Frequent users get free parking if they register, while this place charges £3 per hour! I paid less in London !
After an appointment at Glangwili Hospital, Camarthen we decided to see a film at the Vue Cinema and headed into the town centre to St Catherine's Car Park which is very conveniently only a short walk away from the Cinema and main shopping area and has many spaces!nOn approaching the car park entrance our car reg was read by camera and the barrier opened automatically to let us in to park and go off to the Cinema.nOn returning to the car park to leave later we paid for our stay by card before getting back into our car at the machines placed at the main entrancel nb:these machines are cashless.nOnce the parking charge was paid, we returned to the car and left at the automatic barrier exit. All round tidy car park with ease of access to town centre thus recommend.
Entered a near on empty car park to charge the car, £3 for 45mins disgusting and you wonder why tourism has gone down.nEdited 11th August 2024nJust read your feedback headed off to your website no live chat availible. I feel sorry for the locals who have to pay so much to try and stimulate the welsh economy.nI personally won't be visiting this car park in the not to distant future..nCorporate greed is at an all time high in UK we are set to implode.
