I used to love the king doh chicken and its went far too hot and the chips were soggy. Usually dont have any complaints my favourite chippy but the chicken and sweetcorn soup was tasty!
Placed my order at 6.18 rang back at 6.55 to see how long the order will be they said it was ready and would be leaving In the next few minutes so excepted that it the got to 7.30 and there was still no sign considering it is 5 mins down the road it finally turned up at 8.19 pizzas where cold when it arrived and because of the time it took the kids meal ended up straight in the bin because we cooked for them as it was getting late the man at the door was a manager and said he would give us a free order matching the £20 we spent so rang up the next day and they refused to give it never order from here again customer service is awful
Binned all the food we got. Fish was soggy and probably a reheat or return from another dissatisfied customer. When we called them to ask about this they offered our money back....we're still waiting captain cod. The manners of the lady who handles your calls is beyond belief, but I'm guessing she gets a lot of abuse based on the 2 experiences I have had with this chippy. Also, be prepared to wait a LONG time for your food...that will be cold when you get it. Bring on the 0 star Google! 1 star is undeserved!
After placing order on website I rang to see if my order definitely went through they said yes. A hour and half later I rang to see where food was and they said it was on the way. After ringing numerous times I was getting fobbed off. For them to ring me after 2 1/2 hours and say the order isn't on the system. Won't be going there agai. Cancelled order. Went somewhere else.
Chips dont taste nice got fish here 3 times on the same day each 1 was not cooked correctly in the end had to get my money back had previously bought here and had no trouble but this was the last time i go here plus one of their drivers hit my car and never came into the shop 2 ask who's car it was luckily 4me my wife was in the car and told me if I had been alone i would never have known until next day with over £750 of damage but got the guy and the repairs paid 4 by the guy
First time ordered.. Waited hour an half.. Ordered salt pepper prawn what Chinese. Would cook this in stoggy batter and they looked huge.. But was all thick batter what they must use for fish.. Thi nk that I need to give some cooking lessons. Flavours of seasoning were .Fine I wouldn't even use that batter for fish thick and stoggy
What a wonderful gesture captain cod made to the worn out crews of northwest ambulance service. On good friday.. by giving then a free fish and chip meal. Absolutely wonderful we enjoyed and a great big thank you. Emergency crew liverpool and st helens

Long time food coming and not worth the wait. food was brunt anf full of un cocked salt 7£ for a omelet come on. Dont wast your money
The food used to be nice I orders other day not just delivery being late the food was terrible batters fish was soggy the chips was over cooked and cold it's real shame I don't know what's happened u need to find the pride u once had
