The one and only Chinese take away to be had Over Wyre! A great family run business and a tresure to have. Reliable, consistent, hot, compitent: if, on the vanishingly rare occasion, Crispy Shredded duck is delivered without pancakes, they immediatley send a driver out with apologies! No harm is ever done.nnI have been going to this Chinese since it opened and I absolutrly love it. I have eaten Chinese cuisine in the finest restaurants, and I have experianced every form of English-traditional Chinese Takeaway, the offerings across all four of the UK Nations - this is my favourite. This is coming home to a lovely Chinese.nnI am laughing my head off at certain viciously inaccurate views expressed elsewhere in these reviews - isn’t it funny how people who don’t even order properly and have embarrassingly parochial eating habits and taste complain the most loudly?nnGet out. You don’t know your born! Thank you for serving the people of over Wyre.nnGet spicy Salt and Peoper Squid, King Prawns in Spicy Salt, Prawn Toast, THE CRISPY DUCK, wonton soup, any of the ‘dry’ chow mein - any of the fried rices. Any of their Kung Po dishes! Get Beansprouts, char Sui - bamboo shoots, water chestnuts! Crispy seaweed!nnGET SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN IN BATTER. Buy their chili oil, ask for extras, ask to make things spicy! Expect the best any village in England can offer.nnAways transparent with wait times, always friendly, any and all minor minor slips are immediatley addressed with total candour.
I have used this Chinese on and off for the last 3 years...... It's got more discussing as time as gone on they have missed heard my order a few times and never rectifie the order been told I would have to pay again it's very disappointing when you have payed £40+ for food for your family! Was not impressed with any of the food tonight it tasted discussing and got my order wrong so me and my husband had no rice and my kung po chicken tastes like chow Mein wet sauce! Only good thing you get out of this Chinese is plastic tubs
I have eaten her a few times and always been very tasty , but today I have never had anything like it , it was honestly like tasting dish water the taste was horrendous , well no taste whatsoever , really bad today
Excellent takeaway with an extensive range of menu options. Thoroughly recommend the chicken chownein.
