Wonderful place to visit, stunning woodland walks. Spectacular waterfall views. Cafe with good selection of refreshments and food.
Lovely forest walks. Well signposted. If you like mountain biking this is the place for you also. Lots of different routes. Great cafe with plenty of outdoor seating.
Took the red route walking trail. Stunning waterfalls & scenery to be seen! The walk isn’t for the faint hearted; It’s strenuous. Overall it was a good 6 mile hike with an elevation level of just over 1,000 ft but worth it!
Don’t miss this magical place if you’re in Wales! Idyllic biking trails, bike rentals, great hiking, nice children’s playground and cafe better than most with vegetarian and GF options- vegetable soup was the best menu item, hummus also nice. Could be improved by carrying almond milk. Also features a nice bike shop, running shop and gift shop. In good weather you could easily spend the whole day here. “Easy” bike trail blue took 2.5 hours and wore the kids out but we’d do it again in a heartbeat. You can shorten the ride as much as you want.
Fantastic place for walkers, mountain bikers and everyone else that loves the outdoors. Fantastic cafe that sells local produce. Fully equipped bike shop and an information area. Ample parking. Definitely recommend a visit.
We had a great time, took the red route walking trail. Great views of the waterfalls. However the steep decent on one part of the trail is treacherous and not for the faint hearted. Make sure you are wearing sturdy walking shoes. Dog friendly.
Love it here, plenty to see and do, lots of woodland to explore trails to walk with interactive podcasts, loads of mtb trails for all abilities and an excellent cafe for coffee & cake after....
Such a fantastic place. Something for everyone whether you want to go riding, running or walking or even just chill close to the visitor centre.
Good fun - did 5m trail course yesterday, 8.5m ‘Gold Rush’ today - lovely and suitably challenging but not as intimidating as the description made it sound. Place is still busy despite the lockdown but all MTB-ers - I had the trail to myself today but felt completely safe because of the waymarking. It’s a relaxing way for a solo woman to run trails. Cafe not open but plenty of portaloos and hand sanitiser everywhere. Only thing to point out is that it is indeed a Forest trail centre, so if you’re hoping to run with views of mountains, it won’t happen here - beautiful leafy routes though.
Slightly biased as I was here for the biking, so not really in need of the wider tourist services and advice. That said, appeared to offer loads of local information. They certainly had plenty of leaflets. And there were people available to answer questions and help out, so that's got to be worth four stars.
