We had the pleasure of eating here earlier this month. Absolutely fantastic! We were met with a friendly welcome and a lovely menu. Lots of choice and Gaynor even switched my potatoes for me (I wanted mash) instead of chips, not a problem! Our food was served quickly, piping hot and plenty of it. Good, home cooked food...what more could we ask for. We will be going back very soon...thank you for a wonderful meal! Need to also mention the pot people Gaynor makes....they are great.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly and welcoming.. the let down was a couple of the dishes, tinned burger on the mixed grill, hard and very dry bacon, too much 'gravey' on the lamb shank.. I will however say the chips were delicious and probably the only thing worth going back for.

Excellent service and meal. Friendly atmosphere. Steak and ale pie delicious. Rump steak also delicious. Very reasonable price. Food piping hot. Will definitely be back again 😊
