A lovely spot behind Berkhampstead centre bordering onto the canal. Well equipped children's play area with swings, climbing frames, slides, roundabouts etc fully fenced off with safety flooring or grassed areas throughout. Ample grassed field areas around for more sporting activities with forms and shaded areas scattered for seating. A hot day with an ice cream van parked up. Ideal recreation area especially on a hot day.

Good free parking 9 minutes' walk from Berhamsted Castle. It is small but throughput seems high. If you are patient you WILL get a space.

Lovely playground for the kids. Can walk the canal in either direction. The fishing here is very good.

Children's playground suitable for wide age range, large free car park, (can get busy at peak times), skate park, canal views close to town and shops over bridge.

Beautiful place, ideal for walk all year around. There is a playground and garden centre near by, plus historical side of a Birckhamstead Castle, one of the oldest in the country.
