Slightly tucked away, this is a hidden gem that is worth visiting. Italian shop that also does sandwiches, really really good and very reasonable price too. I would highly recommend getting food there.
Beautiful old-school Soho Italian deli. Every time I shop here, I feel I go back in time to what Soho was like before all the changes and gentrification took hold. The staff speak Italian and are super friendly, and the products sold are great, both the fresh ones as well as all the packaged items. This is my go-to place if I need something specific Italian. Please never ever close!
I love i Camisa so much - one of the last OG soho mom-n-pop type places. £5-7 will get you a freshly made deli sandwich on foccacia or ciabatta, there's no menu which is how you can always spot first timers rather you choose from the deli counter what you'd like cured meats, salamis, mortadella, cheeses, olives, sundried tomatoes, artichokes, marinated courgettes, rocket, etc There's freshly made/filled pasta for sale to take home and cook but be fast as it's generally sold out by 14:00ish. Also, lol @ the one star reviews for rude service. Have never experienced rude service here! Sometimes they are busy and working fast but always kind and helpful. Plus………… have you ever been to Italy???? In a sea of sameness in Soho, lets support i camisa! Long may it reign supreme.
The best sandwiches in Soho, fresh bread and ingredients every day, so much so if you go near the end of the day they might not have bread left! Personally recommend the strong Provolone cheese

Update April 2023. It had definitely closed. There is a hint of a renaissance in the summer. Peering through the gaps in the shutter nothing is happening inside. Very sad news. It is closing for good at the end of 2022. I started up in 1929.
Fantastic little shop. Very traditional and lovely. . The products are authentic. Service is friendly. Plenty of choices. Lovely meat and cheeses as well as pasta and all things Italian. Very reasonably priced. Many gluten free offerings available.
Excellent. Create your own ciabatta using their various deli meats/cheeses. Highly recommend for great tasting, good value food.
Superiour Italian deli. Not cheep but they are not as expensive as Borough Market when it comes to San Daniele ham. I don’t know if Camisa & Son sell Culatello ham at allBorough Market does
