Thank you Calmac at Ullapool. My wife left her jacket on the ferry from Stornoway on Sunday afternoon. Staff at the Ullapool terminal and on the ship were very helpful the following morning and discovered that the jacket had been taken off at Stornoway after the return trip. It was sent back to Ullapool and then sent on to us by post and received this morning (Thursday). What more could one ask? We wanted to reimburse the postage plus something extra but instead it was suggested that we make a donation to the RNLI, which we will do. We were very impressed by the comfortable, smart and well maintained ferry. Excellent trip.

Not much to say, it's a ferry terminal. You catch the ferry here. Decent seating while you wait and a small play area for kids.

I travel to Lewis every three weeks, sometimes with my car. Booking online used tp be very simple, but hey ho, like so many professionals these days, Calmac's web "masters" can't abide an optimised system, obviously fearing that if it works properly then there'd be nothing for them to do. So, some bright spark has come along and screwed it all up again leaving a site that doesn't work.
