Caledonian Classic Car Hire Ltd

I have been fortunate enough to drive several of the cars at Caledonian Classics and also stay at Kennels Cottage, a real home away from home. I find it's the little things that make the difference, and Alex and Tanya go out of their way to make your stay or car hire feel personal, all while running two very good and complimentary businesses. The cars are fabulous, and there is a wide variety to choose from. Alex is very knowledgeable about them all and has a personal history with them. His morning briefings on your car for the day are great, and often include how to get in and out of an old 'low to the ground' classic with as much grace as possible! Return to Kennels Cottage of an evening and enjoy the countryside, and all within several miles of good pubs and restaurants to fuel you up for the next day's adventure around the 'wee roads' of Scotland. Magnificent.

I have had 2 fantastic weekends in Dollar with Alex and Tanya and their cars . First time out a stunning 76 Stag, the next time an early 80's Merc convertible Hart to Hart style! Alex's knowledge of the cars and the surrounding areas is second to none and the easy to follow routes he gave us with interesting historical footnotes (along with detailed excellent stop points for lunch / tea / cake etc) were absolutely invaluable. The routes were stunning, some of the most breathtaking scenery I have ever witnessed. If you are looking for a special few days - look no further. Oh, and their B&B is more like a mini boutique hotel - an oasis of calm and tranquility in a beautiful setting. Enjoy!

Fantastic Cars. We have hired cars from Caledonian Cars on many occasions. We have always been impressed by the quality of the service provided. We have had lots and lots of fun driving along some of Scotland's most scenic roads in these wonderful cars.

Hired the Healey 3000. Alex Stewart gave us a very warm welcome and great intro to the car "one of his babies". Had a great time with my Dad in the Healey, ROARING down memory lanes and Glens on the West Coast in stunning weather and lots of Ice Creams. Great Memories for us both. A great taster to driving a Classic. Will be back and tempted to own one, one day!!

Hired the Jag E-Type 1971. Alex is a great guy, about half an hour he explained and drove the car with me. After that I enjoyed a fantastic day alone in this car. Thank you, Alex!
