Greens are ultra fast with super difficult pin positions either all on ridges, slopes or within 8ft of a bunker, making it unfortunately just too hard even for accomplished golfers.
Very nice course. Unfortunately we played on a very cold and very wet day. As a result I'd like to play again and hopefully.enjoy it more.
When the starter has a Green Starters Jacket, you known it’s a good quality course. Very mature tree lined parkland course with an easy walk, undulating fairway, dogleg holes, fairway bunkers, lateral ditches & water hazards therefore course management comes into play with true undulating greens. The greens, fairways & bunkers were all in good condition. Off the yellows its 5834 so it suits all handicap. It’s just the greens so fast. Driving nets, large practise putting chipping green. Great Club house, friendly staff. Overall a very excellent course will definitely play it again and worth a visit. I went on a corporate day, otherwise a bit prices @ £70 during the weekday
Peace and tranquility so close to Reading centre. Nice course with variety of holes and great half way house and excellent food available in the Clubhouse. Excellent staff and made very welcome. Would like to play again once we have more rain to 'green up' the fairways.
A while since I last played Calcot, but the greens are as tricky as ever. Pleasant parkland course providing a good test of golf. Welcoming clubhouse with good selection of food and drinks.
Really Nice course maintained well. Buggy Hire Good price. The clubhouse has a great view of the couse from the patio. The Staff Are Very Helpful & Friendly. . The Food & wine list Very good as well

Was doing a 2 day course the food was nice not over priced I didn't play the golf course itself but it looked loverly
Really fun course to play. More forgiving off the tee than it looks with some great holes like the drivable par 10th next to the excellent half way hut. Greens in great condition and some very interesting breaking putts! Great reception from the staff and starter which made it a really memorable day.
