I have had occasion to visit this surgery twicw in the last two weeks. On both occasions the doctor saw me within the hour of my phone call. I felt the tratment I was given and the conversations with the GP were very good. I feel this is much improved since the last time I had to visit a couple of years ago.
The receptionists aren't very polite or friendly they just tell you to go to A&E and if you say you want to see a GP instead they tell you that you must wait for a call back it's ridiculous but I will admit the doctor's here are good but because of the call back system I recommend finding anywhere else if you can
We have recently moved to the area and have found the service at Caistor Health Centre exceptional. The repeat prescription service is efficient, the staff are friendly and helpful and the doctor/nurse actually does call you back. Cannot praise them enough.
Fantastic service from reception staff right up to the Doctors. Great experience, friendly and caring. Well done to all.
Dad at end of life care, I've leaned on this practice quite heavily last 3 weeks.. couldn't ask for much more from them. Can usually get through to reception in 2 gos, direct me easily to DrSam or dispensary. Dr will do home visit, has been very efficient and proper with all the paperwork needed by home care and emergency nurses who say that this isn't normally so well done by others Pharmacy have worked hard at getting all the meds though their supplier's a bit hit n' miss. But have been excellent at getting 'scripts to other dispensaries to help. Also very clear and helpful on the phone.
Just moved to Caistor and moved to the surgery. My info from last doctors was obtained quickly and my repeat prescription was available very quickly! I got an appointment easily and the doctor immediately arranged a review to check I was on the correct inhalers. Very happy and even more pleased I chose to move to the area! Not sure if the doctors surgery looks at this but thank you all anyway.
Receptionist Jackie very rude, nodding her head behind my back whilst talking to the practice manager. Rude on arrival to the surgery to myself and my children. Not helpful at all when asked questions just rolled her eyes and tutted. Practice manager did explain their system of booking appointments, which is absolutely ridiculous…. Having to ring at 8am about 20 times to be spoken to receptionist to be told to have a call back sometime in the day…. Waiting around if you miss the call you’ve no chance for appointment if you do get a call they can then make appointment for you if they feel you need one. What happened to making appointments prior to the day at a time that is convenient for the patient?
Doctors / nurses ***** Really helpful, let down by their poor staff who could learn a lot about good service Receptionist ** A bit too cocky / cheeky Pharmacy * Awfully rude and unhelpful. Need urgent customer care training. They would be on an action plan if they worked for me, potential dismissal material if they do not improve how they interact and speak with patients! ! ! !
If I could give less than one I would, constant problems, rude staff that don’t know how to run a surgery. If they didn’t sit around eating cake all day and answer the phones maybe we could get somewhere. The manager was unhelpful and tried to guilt me into feeling bad for taking a blocked appointment from the nurse meaning she wouldn’t get a break that day, maybe if they didn’t cancel my appointment without telling me I wouldn’t have to. Moving surgery as it’s one problem after another here.
Receptionist terrible I got misdiagnosed for having covid when I didn't i had a severe case of vomiting and abdominal pain the norovirus the receptionist over the phone was giggling laughing over the phone for misdiagnosed me she thought it was funny that I was misdiagnosed. Absoultely awful now very disappointed and very unprofessional. On the 10th February 2021 I rang up complaining of severe vomiting and stomach cramps these are not covid symptoms yet the receptionist said I need to ring this other number and her unprofessional response was terrible and shocking laughing over the phone to me as a patient. Another nurse answered and said no you not got covid symptoms so she put me back on to caistor health center receptionist I'm beyond shocked the way I was treated here really terrible I have now put in a formal complaint. They just seem to make one mistake after another
